We travel around the world. But how? By train, plane or boat? We start in Europe and go to Africa, America, Asia ... We travel along the sea and the mountains. Sometimes it is cold, sometimes it is very hot. This will be a journey to remember! Will you join us?

The school holidays are the perfect time for children to take part in fun activities. For children whose mother tongue is not Dutch, this is also an opportunity to learn and practise the language during the holidays. With this in mind, ‘de Rand’ and De Horizon are organising entertaining and educational Dutch workshops. The well-rounded programme is an opportunity to enjoy a unique weeklong experience of the Dutch language. The monitors will encourage the children to speak Dutch while they play, even though these workshops are not supposed to be language courses.

Who
Monday 21 to friday 25 August 2023.
Children are expected at 8.45 a.m. Activities start at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
Staff is on hand to look after the children from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Meals
Give your child a packed lunch, a drink and a cookie/fruit to bring along each day. At 10 a.m. the children get a cookie/fruit.
Also te bring along
A change of clothes and an apron.
